The Steinhoff Drifters, winners of the Steinhoff UKZN Campus League, are preparing for a tour to Zululand where they will take part in the prestigious Bozas Cup.
The Bozas Cup is named after Zululand’s famous Bozas family, who still sponsor the tournament, now in its 66th year.
After two semi-final appearances in this time-honoured annual festival, the Drifters are aiming to go one better this year.
Zac Bolton, the founder of the Drifters team, and a former Zululand man himself, commented:
"This will be our six year at the Bozas Cup, and after two years of semi-finals defeats we’re hoping to clinch the trophy this year.
"We have a great social vibe going and hopefully we will continue to enjoy success on and off the field," Bolton added.
