Q2. What are you studying?
Ans : Operations Management
Q3. What do you most enjoy about student-life?
Ans : All the new people I have met and enjoying a night out with my friends and the fact that each day is a new adventure and learning new life experiences
Q4. Why did you enroll in the Miss Varsity Cup 2011 competition?
Ans : I entered Miss Varsity Cup to show other girls out there that they can also participate in something similar no matter what shape or size they are and to participate in all the activities the university has to offer me. So I can tell people I have done it and had a great deal of fun doing it
Q5. Who is your favorite university first team rugby player and why?
Ans : Hansie Graaff because he plays the game to the best of his abilities
Q6. What do you think about global warming and world peace?
Ans : Global warming is terrible because it affects animal’s habitats and is causing the world to heat up at to very high temperatures. World peace is something we should support and stand together as one to make it happen but as long as we all go our own ways there will always be hate between one another
Q7. Which word do you not like to hear at all and why?
Ans : It’s not just one word in particular. I don’t like it when people swear. I think it is very disrespectful to the elderly people and people who don’t swear.
Q8. What or who motivates you and why?
Ans : My dad motivates. Because he was in a motorbike accident and it had caused a lot of damage to his organs so he is not able to do sports and run around. Yet he still stands up every morning with a smile and takes each day as it comes and makes the best of it.
Q9. If you were given 50 pink roses, who would you send it to and why?
Ans : I wouldn’t send it to a specific person. I would go and walk around in the street and give a rose to every girl or lady that has a broken heart or looks like she needs one. I would do that because it would make me feel a lot better if someone had done that for me.
Q10. What is your impression of the Varsity Cup -Keep the agro on the field-campaign?
Ans : I am glad to see that the rugby and men in general are supporting women abuse and not afraid to show it openly. I am also proud of the rugby teams making a stand against women abuse. The varsity cup sets a good example for other organizations to also stand up for women in need and gathering funds to help them get out of there abusing environment and stand up for their rights.
