Mopanie claims title glory

Steinhoff Mopanie claimed the University of Pretoria's Steinhoff Koshuisrugby league title after a 24-10 win over defending champions, Steinhoff Onderstepoort, in the final held earlier this week.

As Koshuis champions, Mopanie will thus represent Tuks in the 2012 Steinhoff Koshuisrugby Championships, with OP having had the honour in 2011.

Mopanie, though, could not complete a hat-trick of wins for their house as their second and Under-20 teams were narrowly beaten in their respective finals on Tuesday.
