Bastion take glory again

Bastion confirmed their status as kings of the University of Johannesburg's Steinhoff Koshuisrugby league with a 30-15 win over Afslaan on Wednesday night.

It is the third consecutive time that Bastion has taken the title.

The match was an exciting one but in the end Bastion were just too classy for their opponents, Afslaan. Bastion's Krokodil Verhoef and Houtskool Coetzee were their side's stand out players on the day.

Bastion's second team were also in action on Wednesday, but narrowly lost out 25-22 to the Chiropracters in the dying minutes of the game.
