Here is a round up of the Steinhoff Koshuis rugby leagues that have have taken place at various campuses this week. Week ending 21 August.
MGI Tigers claimed the last available play-off berth in the Steinhoff Wits Internal Rugby League at the Wits Rugby Stadium on Wednesday night as they posted a bonus-point win over Steinhoff SHA in the evening’s first match. The Tigers join Steinhoff Masakhane, Steinhoff Medics and Steinhoff Monash in the semifinals, which will be contested next Wednesday 26 August.
Steinhoff Commerce, who required a comprehensive bonus-point win in order to have a chance of qualifying, were dismantled by Steinhoff Monash in the later game and by half-time the MGI Tigers supporters still present at the stadium were in raptures as the realisation of their team’s achievement sank in.
Steinhoff Medics take on Steinhoff Monash in the first semifinal at 18.30 and unbeaten league winners Steinhoff Masakhane play MGI Tigers in the second semifinal at 20.00.
The Steinhoff Wits Barbarians “Dream Team” is taking shape and will be finalised after the semifinals next week.

After a great evening of rugby on Tuesday, August 18 at the Tuks Rugby fields the finalists for the different leagues are know at the Steinhoff Tuks Koshuisrugby Competition 2015.
In the 2nd league finals it will be Steinhoff Sonop vs Steinhoff Regshuis who will decide who are the best 2nd team. Kick off at 17:00
In the Under-20 section Steinhoff Boekenhout and Steinhoff Olienhout will play each other. Kick-off at 18.00
In the 1st league final defending Champion of Tuks and defending Steinhoff Koshuis Challenge Champions will play Steinhoff Sonop. Kick.off at 19:30
The matches will start at 17.00 at the Tuks Stadium
In Cape Town, Steinhoff Ikhaya beat Steinhoff Kopano 28 -7. Steinhoff Smuts narrowly beat Steinhoff Saints 12 – 8. Steinhoff Turtles outscored Steinhoff CVU Vikings by five tries to three running out 29 – 19 winners. Steinhoff Ubumbo bagged all five points, as Steinhoff Knights couldn’t field a full side. The much popular Steinhoff Nadoes thumped Steinhoff Cat 51 – 21 in a 12-try thriller on Wednesday night.
