Second-placed Steinhoff Chiropractors are breathing behind the leaders neck as they convincingly beat Steinhoff Jabali 36-10. Steinhoff Chiros are now just a point behind leaders Steinhoff Maqhawe with three rounds to go.

Steinhoff Cornerstone also put themselves in the championship run-in as they beat basement side Steinhoff Kilomenjaro  28-0. Steinhoff Cornerstone are now 5 points behind the leaders while Steinhoff Kilomenjaro have yet to win a game this season.

With the way the season is unfolding, Steinhoff Kilomenjaro look likely to face relegation while the race for the championships is not quite lucid as yet.

Five teams in contention for the title

Round Eight of Steinhoff Koshuis Rugby League will see the top five battle it out in the race for the title. Bottom-placed Steinhoff Kilomenjaro, who are yet to register a single point, face second-placed Steinhoff Chiropractors, who are looking to gain ground on Steinhoff Maqhawe.

Steinhoff Maqhawe tackle mid-table side Steinhoff Jabali as they look to extend their lead at the top. Steinhoff Jabali themselves are looking to bounce back and regain the momentum as they lost ground with their defeat in Round Seven.

The final game of the round will see Steinhoff Oppierif take on Steinhoff Cornerstone in what should be an entertaining encounter.

The race to the title is heating up and none of the sides, apart from Steinhoff Kilomenjaro, can afford to lose points.
